RAW Preview: 3 Huge title matches, The Fiend Bray Wyatt to attack controversial 13-time World champion?

Brock Lesnar is back on RAW!
Brock Lesnar is back on RAW!

Welcome to a very special edition of WWE RAW Preview! Tonight is the season premiere of the Red Brand and the second last episode before the Wild Card rule concludes. It also happens to be the go-home show for RAW before WWE Hell in a Cell, so it's safe to say that tonight is going to be a really interesting episode.

Expect Paul Heyman and crew to pull out all the big stops for the final episode of RAW before WWE Hell in a Cell 2019 and hopefully, more matches announced. We must admit that it's a bit surprising that only three matches have been announced for Hell in a Cell so far.

Since WWE is so keen on stacking SmackDown this coming Friday, they haven't really given much of an emphasis on the PPV. And that makes it all the more surprising that we have three title matches tonight! Either way, we're not complaining - we're simply excited! Here's what you have to look forward to on RAW tonight!

#6 Alexa Bliss takes on Sasha Banks in a SummerSlam 2017 rematch

Will Sasha Banks have a moment of Bliss?
Will Sasha Banks have a moment of Bliss?

This is low-key one of the most exciting match-ups of the night. In a rematch from SummerSlam 2017, Sasha Banks will be taking on one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss.

Nikki Cross will be in Bliss' corner while Becky Lynch will carefully watch on. Since we're still in the Wild Card period, expect Bayley to be by Banks' side and for her to help the RAW Women's title challenger pick up the big win.

Either way, it would have been a good match even without intereferences. But given the number of people that there are, one can only know that an interference is inevitable.

#5 Cedric Alexander gets a United States title rematch against AJ Styles

Will Cedric Alexander get the better of Styles?
Will Cedric Alexander get the better of Styles?

This is going to be a good one! AJ Styles has clearly had Cedric Alexander's number, but it's only been because of The OCs presence. They're Styles' insurance and the ones who will always help him coast through to a victory without having to put in the maximum effort.

Styles knows that Cedric Alexander is a major threat and there has hardly been a moment where Alexander has been able to get the better of him. That's why things are going to get really interesting when they face off in the season premiere for the United States Championship.

Will Cedric Alexander finally be able to capture his first bit of gold since joining Monday Night RAW? Or will AJ Styles continue to retain the title the same way he has over the past few months?

#4 Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler defend the Tag Titles against Heavy Machinery

An exciting match-up!
An exciting match-up!

This one looks like a whole lot of fun. After capturing the Tag Team titles, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode have been on a roll, having new-found confidence and seemingly good chemistry together in the ring.

It has been Roode doing the heavy lifting, but tonight, it's going to have to be a joint effort as they take on the up-and-coming SmackDown tag team Heavy Machinery. What they did to earn the title shot, we're not sure, but we won't complain about the fact that we have yet another title match due to it being the season premiere of Monday Night RAW.

Expect fireworks from both teams and for Otis to steal the show with the caterpillar. It's going to be interesting to see how Ziggler & Roode manage to overcome the duo, but they have proved to be beatable, so expect the champions to retain.

#3 Brock Lesnar is back

Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar will be returning to Monday Night RAW for the first time since August. He was defeated clean by Seth Rollins and rather than opting to go back for the title, he went over to SmackDown Live and challenged Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship following the latter's success in a tag team match.

Kingston, being the fighting champion that he is, accepted the challenge and this coming Friday on SmackDown, Lesnar will be participating in the main event against the Ghana-born superstar.

Lesnar's presence on RAW tonight is obviously one as a special attraction but we can only hope that he does get involved in some area and attacks someone. For all we know, we could even see Kofi Kingston come out to confront him. However, that wouldn't really work out well in the favor of the WWE Champion, who has fought and defended the title with a lot of pride and honor.

#2 The Miz hosts two legends on a special edition of 'Miz TV'

Thought it couldn't get bigger?
Thought it couldn't get bigger?

To continue adding to a rather stacked show, 8-time Intercontinental Champion The Miz will be hosting one of the most special editions of Miz TV in ages - hosting 16-time World Champion Ric Flair and 13-time World Champion Hulk Hogan.

It's going to be a great episode as the two legends reminisce over the past and get a great reaction from the crowd. However, that is not going to be the best part of the segment. The best part of the segment will most likely come when The Fiend Bray Wyatt appears out of nowhere and terrorizes Hulk Hogan.

Since Flair's health hasn't been the best over the last few years, it's likely that Hogan is going to be the one targetted by The Fiend. It'll be exciting to watch and even more exciting to hear what the response is like. It's safe to say that if he does do it, his popularity is only going to increase as Hogan hasn't been highly favored by the WWE Universe over the past few years.

#1 Seth Rollins defends the Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio

What a main event!
What a main event!

To top everything off, the stacked season premiere of RAW will feature the greatest masked superstar in WWE history - Rey Mysterio, challenge for the Universal Championship for the very first time in a dream match against an opponent he has never faced before - Seth Rollins.

This is undoubtedly a dream match and one that WWE would normally save for a big PPV. However, the momentum heading in may favor Mysterio. He has the psychological edge over Rollins since he hasn't been facing 2-3 weeks of terror and intimidation from The Fiend.

With that being said, Seth Rollins has an incredible reseliency that hasn't been seen in WWE for years and that is what helped him earn clean victories over both Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman.

Expect Rollins to pick up the big win and for The Fiend to appear afterward to terrorize him one last time before Hell in a Cell. There's not much we can say to express our excitement about all of this except YOWIE WOWIE!
