We are just a few days away from this year's Survivor Series which will take place this Sunday, November 24th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Other than being the thirty-third anniversary of the show, the PPV would be the last of the "big four" this year. With it being the first instance of NXT being involved in the war for brand supremacy, the show looks promising.

While most of the matches booked on the show are RAW versus SmackDown versus NXT, the top World titles of all three brands will be defended in singles competition. From SmackDown's side, 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt will defend his newly colored Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan.

The Fiend has been nearly unstoppable ever since his in-ring debut at Summerslam and dethroning Seth Rollins as the Universal Champion has caused his stock to rise even higher. If you are one of those to wonder how this match could potentially come to an end, you've stumbled upon the correct place.

#5 Bryan gives a tough fight, but The Fiend prevails

Hands down, this is the most likely outcome of the match between these two Superstars. Daniel Bryan is considered by many as one of the greatest in-ring performers of this generation. Combine his skills with the intensity that The Fiend brings to the match and we are sure to see a spectacle this Sunday.

Much like Seth Rollins, Bryan's character has no quit in him and would give a tough fight to the demonic entity, but that might just be delaying the inevitable. The Fiend is not losing that Universal Championship anytime soon, at least not at Survivor Series.

#4 The Fiend squashes Daniel Bryan

Before ultimately losing to The Fiend, Seth Rollins did give him a tough fight - both at Hell in a Cell, as well as Crown Jewel. There's a large portion of the fans, however, who were not pleased with the way Wyatt was booked in both matches. The reason, though debatable, is that it made him look somewhat weak and vulnerable.

While I'm not completely in favor of the above reasoning, it has been somewhat weird to see The Fiend seemingly struggle against his opponents at times. The way he dominated Balor at Summerslam made him stand apart as an unstoppable force.

Let's be honest here, there's no way Vince McMahon is letting Bryan defeat The Fiend and become the new Universal Champion. While not many would be happy with such a squash match, looking at the number of matches booked for the show at Survivor Series, this can't be ruled out completely.

Moreover, this might ensure that The Fiend finally gets a heel reaction from the crowd. Remember, he is supposed to be the bad guy. He doesn't care about the championship, or the audience, or Daniel Bryan. The Fiend is here to hurt his opponents and he could prove that this Sunday at Survivor Series.

#3 Bryan snaps, DQ finish

This is another one of those finishes that might not go well with a big section of the WWE Universe. There have been many instances where wrestlers have snapped due to the frustration of not being able to defeat their opponents. This happened last year at Survivor Series with Charlotte Flair against Ronda Rousey, and recently at Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins.

Being unable to take down The Fiend did force Rollins to embrace his dark side, as he ruthlessly attacked the demented entity with weapons before the referee had to intervene and stop the match. While the build-up to Bryan/Wyatt hasn't been as intriguing as the build between Wyatt and Rollins, this possibility can't be ruled out.

Though short-lived, the trend of Fiend's opponents shows that they either turn heel soon after or show signs of turning into one and it suits the character of The Fiend as well. How can one come out unscathed after a fight with a sinister monster?

While this might not be the most interesting finishes, this could play well in the broader perspective of things, as Sami Zayn has been requesting an alliance with Bryan for the last few weeks. Maybe this heel turn could lead to a faction between Bryan, Sami Zayn, and Shinsuke Nakamura later down the line.

#2 The Fiend drags Bryan with him and disappears

Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt have a history too good to be left aside from this feud. If you remember, The Fiend is here to hurt those who have hurt Bray Wyatt in the past. While we saw him do this to Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, none of them hurt Wyatt in the way Bryan did.

Back in 2014, when Bryan was feuding with The Wyatt Family, he ended up joining the sheep followers and became a part of the family. This alliance turned out to be temporary as Bryan broke free from Wyatt's possession. Wyatt was shocked and "hurt" to see one his followers betray him, and The Fiend has probably not forgotten that.

The backstory involved with these two is just too good to be wrapped up so quickly, but how does WWE ensure to continue this storyline, while keeping it interesting and not letting Wyatt take a pinfall?

What if The Fiend wins the match and then positions Bryan for a Sister Abigail. The lights go out before he hits it, and the moment they come on, The Fiend is standing on top of the stage. He then proceeds to drag Bryan with him as everyone wonders what they are watching. Will Bryan once again surrender to Wyatt and "let him in?"

#1 Sami Zayn saves Bryan from the wrath of The Fiend

The entire feud between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt started when Sami Zayn and Bryan were having a discussion backstage. Zayn asked Bryan to align with he and Nakamura, but then the lights went out. The Fiend appeared out of nowhere and took out Bryan, setting up this massive clash at Survivor Series.

The interesting thing to note here is that despite this huge program for the Universal Championship, WWE is continuing the "Sami asking Bryan to join him" shtick. According to recent rumors, The Fiend is set to retain his Universal Championship this Sunday and Bryan's current storyline will extend beyond his feud with Wyatt.

How could WWE accomplish the same? The match could very well play out in a way that would end with Wyatt standing tall in the ring after defeating Bryan, but what if The Fiend goes out of control and unleashes his wrath on a nearly passed out Bryan in the ring?

Looking at Sami's desperate plea to Bryan on SmackDown, could he take the risk to save Bryan from The Fiend, resulting in Bryan agreeing to join them? This way The Fiend comes out as a dominant monster and WWE gets to continue the story with Bryan and Zayn. This storyline might very well see the return of Sami Zayn to in-ring competition in the near future.
