About Philadelphia 76ers Roster
The Philadelphia 76ers roster, led by the 2023 MVP Joel Embiid, and All-star point guard Tyrese Maxey, will be eyeing a deep playoff run in the 2024 playoffs after battling through numerous injuries during the regular season, with the return of Embiid, Coach Nick Nurse would finally be able to use the complete strengths and versatility of the 76ers roster.
The Philadelphia 76ers lineup heavily depends on the Pick n Roll duo of Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid on the offensive end. In the absence of Joel Embiid, the 76ers players have struggled to make an impact on the offensive end. Providing spacing and width on the court are Kelly Oubre Jr. and Tobias Harris, excellent 3-point shooters and defensive hustlers. To complete the lineup the 76ers signed Kyle Lowry for the rest of the season, who provides versatility of being the secondary ball-handler in the starting lineup.
Besides the starters, many other Philadelphia 76ers players have made significant contributions from the bench, showcasing the versatility of the 76ers lineup. Buddy Hield, one of the best 3-point catch-and-shoot players, Cameron Payne and De’ Anthony Melton providing the defensive solidity to the 76ers backcourt. Nicolas Batum, who can space the floor for better flow of the offense, and Paul Reed who has risen in the absence of Joel Embiid, are sure to boost the chances of victory for the 76ers.
