As Kanna forgets her sketchbook, Rie suggests borrowing one from the art room, sparking a conversation about Brownies, European fairies known for both helping with household chores and pulling pranks. During class, the teacher, Arai-sensei, asks Rie and another student, Takeshi, to collect sketchbooks. Later, many sketchbooks are reported missing, including Rie's.

Despite everyone searching with no luck, the sketchbooks are mysteriously found the next day. Curious, Kanna discusses the matter with Akihiko, who theorizes that someone may have brought a second sketchbook they didn’t want seen and staged the disappearance to discreetly swap it.

Kanna suspects Rie and later confirms it when she sees her sketching Arai-sensei, realizing that she was hiding personal drawings of him.

In the second half, Sachiko and her boyfriend, Shingo, see a woman at night holding what looks like a human head. The tale spreads. Meanwhile, Eriko grows uneasy over her boyfriend Takumi’s closeness with his childhood friend, Nami, a senior, especially as he begins to evade her.

She later spots the woman holding a head in the old school building and investigates, only to find her in the locked room. Though teachers dismiss it as a mannequin, Kanna shares the tale with Atsuko, who likens the figure to Princess Salome from the Western play. Akihiko connects the tale to the New Testament and suggests someone may be using the space secretly to practice for a play.

Kanna recalls Takumi and Nami discussing a practice, and pieces the mystery together. It’s revealed that Takumi was rehearsing as Salome to pass a theater audition, hiding from everyone out of embarrassment. Once his practice is discovered, he apologizes to Eriko and thanks Kanna for her help. Episode 10 closes with both mysteries solved and personal tensions eased.
