Who is Ui Ui in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Ui Ui

Ui Ui is one of the supporting characters of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime/manga series, and he first appeared in Shibuya Incident Arc. He is the younger brother of Mei Mei, who is the first-grade sorcerer and both of them played important roles in the Shibuya Incident Arc.

Background

Ui Ui's past and background are unknown. The only information given in the anime/manga is that he is the younger brother of Mei Mei till now.

Appearance

Ui Ui is a young boy with light blue hair and a side-parted hairstyle. He wears black shorts and high collar jackets with one button at the top. He also wears long socks with black shoes. His shorts also have hang string attached to them, and he has a fair skin color.

Personality

Ui Ui seems to love and adore his elder sister Mei Mei, too much, which is why he keeps bragging about him when they face Geto. He loves his sister so much that he can give up his life for her without a second thought. He also looks down on others just like his sister does and thinks of her as the strongest.

Ui Ui's Role in Jujutsu Kaisen

Ui Ui plays a crucial role alongside his sister and Yuji Itadori in the Shibuya Arc of the anime. When they receive information about a veil appearing over Meiji-Jingumae Station, they investigate the situation. Ui Ui patiently waits with Yuji as Mei Mei uses her powers to gather information. Once briefed, they head to the B5F platform to await Yuji.

Ui Ui, his sister, and Yuji proceed to help trapped individuals in the station. Ui Ui, carrying his sister's axe, expresses frustration at Yuji for not accepting a compliment. They encounter only one person in the station and later head towards Satoru Gojo's location. However, they pause when Yuji is contacted by Kokichi Muta, who explains the dire situation in Shibuya.

Deciding to assist his sister against curse users, Ui Ui prepares for battle with Mei Mei and Yuji. They face off against curse users, witnessing their defeat. Later, Ui Ui, Mei Mei, and Yuji confront Pseudo-Geto. Ui Ui bravely agrees to sacrifice himself at Mei Mei's request to counter Smallpox Deity's attack. Ui Ui blocks the attack using his simple domain, defeating the Smallpox Deity. After escaping Geto's threat, Ui Ui and Mei Mei regroup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, preparing to face the challenges ahead.

Abilities

Ui Ui possesses an extraordinary ability called Spatial Transference, which acts like a super-fast teleportation power. During the Shibuya Incident, he used it to instantly move himself and his sister from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur, saving their lives. In the Culling Game event, Ui Ui used his Spatial Transference by assisting Maki Zenin in Kenjaku's dangerous game. He is an invaluable asset in battles and can handle tough situations remarkably well, despite being young and inexperienced.
