Devin Taylor is currently attending Indiana University, Bloomington where he is also a player for their baseball team, known as the Indiana Hoosiers, as an outfielder. In his freshman season in 2023, Devin had 51 starts across 55 games. He reached base safely in 51 out of the 55 games he played and managed to get on base multiple times in 31 of those games.

Devin's first collegiate hit and RBI came during a pinch-hit appearance at Auburn on February 18th, 2023. And he hit his first college home run as part of a two-homerun game against Morehead State on March 15th in the series opener.

Devin's performance earned him several accolades and awards during his freshman season. He earned Freshman All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and Perfect Game. He was also named Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
