Marcus Earl Stroman of Medford, New York, United States has been one of the new additions to the New York Yankees team in Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2024. Nicknamed “HDMH”, he was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft. However, he was earlier drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 18th round of the 2009 MLB draft, but he declined to sign and instead played college baseball at Duke University.

Marcus Stroman arrived in the MLB on May 4, 2014, with the Toronto Blue Jays and has also been a member of the New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs before joining his present team. He is notable for being a two-time MLB All-Star player with one AL All-Star Award and one NL All-Star Award to show for it. He also represented Team USA during the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
