Randy Arozarena is a Mexican professional baseball outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. Previously, he was with the St. Louis Cardinals. Arozarena has represented Mexico on an international level since his escape from Cuba, and he was nominated to the all-tournament team at the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Arozarena was drafted by the Cardinals in 2016 and was promoted to the Major League on August 12, 2019. He made his major league debut against the Kansas City Royals on August 14, 2019.


Arozarena was also selected as an American League starting outfielder for the 2023 MLB All-Star Game, the first selection in his career. Arozarena stole third base against the Miami Marlins on August 31st, 2023, becoming the first MLB player to have three consecutive 20-20 seasons to begin his career. In addition to these achievements, he also won the ALCS MVP in the year 2020, Babe Ruth Award in the year 2020, AL-Rookie of the year in 2021, and was included in the All-World Baseball Classic Team in 2023.
