
Shohei Ohtani is a Japanese professional baseball player who plays for Major League Baseball (MLB)'s Los Angeles Dodgers. He has played for the Los Angeles Angels in Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Initially regarded as a top two-way talent, Ohtani was selected first overall by the Fighters in the 2012 NPB draft.
