Hailing from Oshu, Japan, Shohei Ohtani has become one of the most talented baseball players of the present generation in Major League Baseball (MLB). He has become a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024. Before that, he used to play for the Los Angeles Angels since his MLB debut on March 29, 2018. He has also played in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters from 2013 to 2017.

Shohei Ohtani has gained several accolades in his seven-year career in MLB. He has won three AL All-Star awards and one NL All-Star award from his four MLB All-Star games. Moreover, he also has two AL Silver Slugger Awards and two AL MVP Awards in his career so far. Ohtani also played in the 2023 World Baseball Classic for Team Japan and won the finals against his former teammate Mike Trout and Team USA.
