Hailing from Cotui, Dominican Republic, Teoscar Jose Hernandez has been an active member of Major League Baseball (MLB) for nine years as of 2024. Nicknamed, “Mr. Seeds”, he is in his debut season with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024. Hernandez first signed as an international free agent with the Houston Astros in 2011 and made his professional career with the DSL Astros of the Dominican Summer League. He finally made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros on August 12, 2016.

Since making his MLB debut, Teoscar Hernandez has played for teams like the Houston Astros, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Seattle Mariners, and presently, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
