Scott set a school record by scoring 43 points in a game against White Knoll. As a junior, he averaged 19.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.4 steals, earning South Carolina 5A Region 4 Player of the Year honors. He started varsity basketball when he was in eighth grade and averaged 15.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game throughout his career at Lexington. During the 2021-2022 season, he attended the training camp of USA Men's U16 National Team.
