DJ Horne is a professional basketball point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, who went undrafted at the 2024 NBA draft. He signed an Exhibit 10 contract in June 2024 with the Spurs, which can be converted into a two-way contract, as per the team's decision. He attended Cary High School in Cary, North Carolina, and switched to Trinity Christian School, Fayetteville, after his junior year.

After graduating in 2019, Horne opted for the Illinois State Redbirds representing Illinois State University. He moved to Arizona State in 2021. To play his last collegiate basketball season at home in 2023-2024, he transferred to NC State. At State Farm Stadium, 26 miles from ASU's Tempe campus, he concluded his undergraduate career with the Wolfpack.

Horne was named to the Triangle 6 All-Conference team as a junior at Cary High School after averaging 18.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Horne transferred to Trinity Christian School in Fayetteville for his senior year, where he was named to the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association's First-Team All-State team after averaging 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He assisted Trinity Christian in reaching the state semifinals of the NCISSA Tournament and was also selected to the Fayetteville Observer's 2018-19 Second Team.
