Felix Okpara plays college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers men's basketball in the South Eastern Conference. Felix Okpara is in his junior year and plays as a forward. Okpara started his collegiate career with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2022. Okpara spent two seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes and then moved to the Tennessee Volunteers at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.

In his 35 games as a freshman, he was the only player in the conference with more than 32 rejections and was fifth in the Big Ten in both blocks per game and total blocks. With 83 blocks in a single season, he tied for ninth place in Ohio State history while playing 35 games as a sophomore.

Okpara scored No. 68 overall in the On3 Consensus rankings, including ninth among centers, and was generally regarded as a four-star recruit and one of the top four prospects in the state of Missouri. ESPN listed him as the 62nd-best recruit in the country, while Rivals ranked him as the 71st-best prospect overall. At Link Academy, he played with future Volunteers Cameron Carr and Julian Phillips and spent his last prep year.
