Jeremy Roach is a basketball point guard for the Baylor Bears, representing Baylor University. Born on November 1, 2001, the Virginia native went to St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax. In 2020, he opted for Duke University over scholarships from Villanova, North Carolina, and Kentucky, among others. In his senior year, he played 35 games for the Duke Blue Devils, averaging a career-high 14.0 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.1 steals. He also made the 2024 third-team All-ACC and hit an incredible 42.9 percent from three-point shooting. In the NCAA tournament, he assisted Duke to a 27-9 record and an appearance to the Elite 8, when they were defeated by NC State.
However, in April 2024, Roach decided to transfer to Baylor University for his fifth and final year of NCAA eligibility after playing for the Duke Blue Devils for four seasons.
