Sundell won several awards and broke program records during her time in college at Kansas State. She was ranked as the second all-time player to register 715 career assists with 5.67 assists per game and was ninth with 95 career blocks.

Sundell earned a spot in the 2024 All-Big 12 First Team and the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention twice in 2022 and 2023. She was a finalist in the Nancy Lieberman Award list.
