Trimble was also named the Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year in 2022, as well as a first-team All-Greater Metro Conference selection twice. Trimble scored a career-high 45 points in a victory over Whitnall. As a junior, he averaged 23.3 points; as a sophomore, he scored 20.0 points. He also participated in the 2022 National High School Slam Dunk Contest.
