During her freshman season at Boston College in the 2022-23 season, Mair competed in 33 games and started in all of them. She recorded a team-high 36.6 minutes per contest. In the following season for Duke, Mair appeared in 34 contests and started all of them. She helped the team to lead in several categories by recording 3.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and 31.1 minutes as well as a .875 free throw percentage. She was ranked second in scoring 9.8 while fourth in rebounding with 3.8. Mair scored a season-high 24 points while competing against Florida Gulf Coast and bagged 20-plus points thrice in the season. Mair was honored with the All-ACC Academic Team in the season.
