In 2018, he became the Indiana High School Boys Basketball Tournament's 3A champion. As a senior, Galloway had a game average of 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.3 steals.

Galloway graduated as a four-star recruit and received several scholarships from Purdue, Notre Dame, Butler, Iowa, and Nebraska, among others.
