Some of the honors that he achieved are the 2023 MAAC Player of the Year, 2023 First-Team All-MAAC, and 2023 NCAA Stat Champion. Clayton also won the 2024 Coaches Second-Team All-SEC, the 2024 All-SEC Tournament Team, the SEC Tournament MVP and the West Regional Most Outstanding Player award. At the 2025 National Championship, he scored a UF record score of 73, leading the Gators to victory.
