The quarterback excels at passing in the short and mid-range distances. He is highly effective in locating his receiver in this range and sending a clean pass. He has a skillful touch and anticipates his throws, enabling his receivers to gain more yards after the catch. McCall has adequately exhibited the capability to throw the ball with velocity into small openings.

Although McCall's accuracy on deep passes is not his strong suit, he possesses the necessary arm strength to execute them. Analyzing his gameplay with Coast Carolina, it was observed that he could effortlessly throw the ball with great speed from the left hash to the opposite sideline. McCall excels adequately as a dual-threat quarterback, effectively making runs that benefit his team.
