Zachariah Branch is one of the quickest wide receivers in college football who is currently in his sophomore year with USC Trojans. Branch started playing high school football at Bishop Gorman where he helped them secure a Nevada 5A state championship during his junior year. He was named the 2021 MaxPreps Nevada Player of the Year and participated in the 2023 Under Armour All-American Game. In his two seasons of high school, Branch recorded 93 receptions for 1,847 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Coming out of Bishop Gorman as one of the top players in the 2023 recruiting class, Branch started his collegiate football journey with USC Trojans over offers from Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State and Texas A&M among others. Standing at 5'10" and weighing 175 pounds, Branch made a seamless transition to USC in his freshman season. Last season, Branch secured 31 catches for 320 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 70 yards on nine carries. He became USC’s first-ever true freshman to be named a First-Team All-American.
