Coulter-Nile won't be a part of IPL 2018 due to a sustained hamstring injury

Coulter-Nile is one of the most underrated fast bowlers whose career has been riddled with injuries. He has never been able to feature prominently in the national side due to regular injuries.

Despite not being a part of the Australian team during the ICC World Cup in 2015 and also the Champions Trophy in 2017, he has performed exceptionally well whenever he has got chances.

He is also known for taking wickets in batsman-friendly pitches. His short balls are a treat to watch. The Australian pacer also has a good mix of variations which can stifle the batsmen.

He was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2014 IPL auction for a massive sum of 4.25 crore after having a short stint with the Mumbai Indians.

He couldn't feature in the 2014 edition of the IPL due to an injury.

In the 2015 edition of the IPL, Coulter-Nile played 11 matches where he scalped 15 wickets at an impressive economy of 7.55. He was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the tenth edition of the IPL for 3.5 crores.

He is also one of the most injury prone cricketers in the world. Due to a prolonged hamstring injury, he was replaced by Corey Anderson.

Though he is an injury prone bowler, he can be lethal and prove to be a game changer when fully fit.
