Kaul was the third leading wicket-taker for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2017 edition of the IPL.

Siddharth Kaul, the promising fast bowler has become one of Sunrisers' most prized possessions.

The quick bowler had also earned a national call-up after impressive performances in the IPL where he took 16 wickets and also finished the season as Sunrisers' third-leading wicket-taker.

The young prodigy from Chandigarh was also a part of the victorious U-19 team in 2008 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli.

He can also bowl above 130 km/h speed regularly. Kaul is an energetic fielder and can definitely be an addition to the team's assets.

Kaul's first IPL franchise was Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012 where he did not get a single chance to prove his worth.

He was bought by the Delhi Daredevils that following year where he got to play a total of 11 games out of which he took six wickets at an economy of 8.54.

After a gap of two years, he was given a lifeline by the Sunrisers Hyderabad where he grabbed his opportunity and staged the best comeback he could ever make. He has also become a mainstay in the Sunrisers Hyderabad starting line-up.

He was brought back by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for a massive price of 3.80 crores. Delhi Daredevils would have hoped they hadn't sold him as he can prove to be a game-changer.
