Mandeep Singh is an attacking right-handed middle-order batsman. He was the vice-captain for Indian side in the Under-19 World Cup in 2010. In IPL 2010, he played for Kolkata Knight Riders and was then picked by Kings XI Punjab in 2011 IPL auction.

In IPL 2012, Mandeep had a fantastic season where he scored 432 runs from just 16 matches including two precious half-centuries and ended the season as his side's leading run-getter. He was also awarded the Rising Star Cricketer of the Tournament. In 2014 IPL auction, he was picked by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he hasn't really been a consistent presence in the starting XI.

Mandeep plays for Punjab in Vijay Hazare Trophy and was the leading run scorer in 2015. In 2016, he made his maiden T20I appearance in a lone match against Zimbabwe. After the Zimbabwe series, India haven't considered him in any format.
