Delhi humiliated Mumbai in this match

Captain of Delhi Daredevils, Sehwag won the toss and elected to field first. His decision paid off as both the Mumbai openers (Richard Levi and Davy Jacobs) were dismissed by the left-arm off-spinner Shahbaz Nadeem within the power-play.

Mumbai Indians were further reduced to 4-38 in the ninth over with Sharma stranded at the end.

Sharma looked in good touch until he handed over a catch to Ross Taylor of the bowling of Ajit Agarkar. He looked fluent for his 29 off 27 deliveries.

Harbhajan Singh (33 off 22 balls) provided few lusty blows at the end and was the top scorer of the innings.

However, this was never going to be enough as Mumbai Indians were bundled out for 92 in the last over of the innings.

Sharma and Harbhajan were the only two batsmen to reach double figures in the entire innings.

Morkel, Agarkar and Yadav bowled with fire and picked up two wickets each. But the pick of the bowlers was Nadeem, who set the tone by picking up the openers within the power-play. His figures read 4-0-16-2.

In reply, Mumbai Indians chased the target of 93 within 15 overs losing only three wickets. Sehwag top-scored for Delhi with 32 off 36 deliveries.

This was the first win for Delhi Daredevils at Wankhede Stadium and was a humiliating defeat for Mumbai Indians.

For his excellent off-spin bowling Nadeem was awarded Man of the Match.
