Yuzvendra Chahal

The leg-spinner from Haryana was first picked up by the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2011 but didn't get many chances to showcase his talent. He was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2014 edition of the league at his base price of Rs. 10 lakh.

Chahal grabbed the opportunity and took 12 wickets in 14 matches at a brilliant economy of 7.01. In the following season, he ended up third on the list of highest wicket-takers in the tournament, taking 23 wickets in 15 matches.

Chahal honed well under coach Daniel Vettori and captain Virat Kohli who believed in him and handed over the ball to him every time the team was in search for wickets. Following his heroics in the IPL, he was called to the national squad. Chahal has been an integral part of the Indian team since his debut and has troubled even the best of the batsmen with his intelligent bowling.
