Hardik Pandya, the fast bowling all-rounder from Baroda is someone who can not only bat but bowl too. Pandya was picked up by the Mumbai Indians at his base price of Rs. 10 lakh in the IPL auction 2015. Little did then any franchise knew about his potential in T20 cricket.

Pandya first came to the limelight when he scored 21 runs off 8 balls against Chennai Super Kings to take his team home. Later in the season, he scored a thunderous 61 runs off 31 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders.

After his all-around performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2016, he was drafted in the Indian cricket team for the tour of Australia. He was soon named in the Asia Cup squad and later the World T20 squad. Pandya's consistency with the bat and the bowl ended the search for a fast bowling all-rounder for India.
