#1 Samson sensation

#2 Shreyas Iyer’s supporting role
While Sanju Samson provided the aggression for the Delhi Daredevils, Shreyas Iyer played a very nice role in supporting the former Rajasthan Royals starlet. Like Samson, Iyer himself is one of the brightest prospects in the Indian cricketing fraternity and his innings today was a testament to that.
In an innings that consisted of four boundaries and a six, Iyer fell just 3 short of a half-century as he ended his knock with 47 runs from just 34 balls.
#3 Coulter-Nile fury
The way Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer were going at one point, it felt like the Delhi Daredevils would cross the 200 run mark. Both these Indian youngsters were timing the ball well as they set up a perfect platform for the sloggers to propel the side to a humongous score.
However, Nathan Coulter-Nile had other plans. In his first spell, he gave away 19 runs in 2 overs, but he made a solid comeback at the crunch end of the innings, taking the wickets of the dangerous Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Chris Morris.
In the end, he had the last laugh as he ended his spell of 4 overs by taking 3 wickets while conceding 34 runs.
