Shane Watson is undoubtedly one of best all-rounders in the modern-day game. In the very first season of IPL which he played for Rajasthan Royals, he was named the Man of the Tournament award for his excellent performance for performing exceptionally well with both the bat and the ball. He played a very crucial role for the Rajasthan Royals but was not able to take part in the second season due to injury and the team was not able to make it to the top 4.

He debuted for Australia in 2002 against South Africa on 24th of March 2002. He was the no.1 T20 all-rounder for a record 120 consecutive weeks during the period 13 October 2011 to 30 January 2014. He is the only player in T20 international history to take four wickets and score a century in the same match.

In the 2018 season, he played for Chennai Super Kings and single-handedly won the finals for his team. He scored an unbeaten 117 off just 57 balls to help his team lift the trophy. In 2019 season he will play for Chennai Super Kings again as he is retained by the team.
