Praveen Kumar was one of the finest swing bowlers to have played for India. Despite his lack of pace, he troubled most batsmen in the world with his ability to move the ball both ways. Injuries and poor form have prevented him from making it big for India.

The 31-year-old has played 10 Tests, 68 One Day Internationals, and 10 Twenty20I for India, and picked up more than 100 wickets. Praveen has played in 119 IPL games and picked up 90 wickets at an economy of 7.72.

Praveen has represented franchises like Gujarat Lions, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, KXIP, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, he did not play a lot of cricket this season and found no suitors in the 2018 auction.
