Even though Prithvi Shaw came into the limelight when he led the India U19 team to World Cup glory, he announced himself in the true sense in IPL 2018. The 19-year-old scored 245 runs in 9 matches and played some belligerent innings. He has been in tremendous form since then in domestic cricket.

Shaw also made a successful international debut but was unfortunately sidelined due to an injury. But he is back in full fitness and will play a huge role in Delhi's campaign in IPL 2019.

The southpaw has been phenomenal for the Sunrisers for years and will be hoping to do the same for the Capitals as well. Dhawan will also relish the opportunity of being the senior-most batsmen in the side. He will also have the responsibility of guiding the young guns of the teams and use his experience to help Delhi win its first IPL title.
