Hardik Pandya has scored a total of 165 runs against South Africa in 7 innings. It is visible from his high batting strike rate and average that he enjoys facing the South African bowlers. The premier Indian all-rounder played his first match against the South Africans on 18 February 2018. He scored a quick 13 off 7 balls, hitting two boundaries at the end to finish India’s innings on a high. In the same series, he scored another 21 off 17 balls, hitting only one six in the complete innings.

In the 2019 South Africa’s tour of India series, Hardik got the opportunity to bat in only one innings in which he struggled to bat, scoring 14 runs off 18 deliveries.
