Team Australia will be a participant in the 9th edition of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. The 2023 World Cup winners have not hosted any edition of the competition but won the competition twice in 2006 and 2009 respectively. They created a record as the first and only team to win consecutive Champions Trophy titles, as of February 2025. Team Australia has played the other eight editions of the tournament with statistics of 24 matches, 12 wins, and 8 losses. They reached the quarter-finals in 1998 and 2000, the semi-finals in 2002 and 2004, and the group stage in 2013 and 2017 respectively.

Australia’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: Date, Time, Venue

Australia, the six-time world champions, will be a member of group B in the tournament along with Afghanistan, England, and South Africa, as per ICC's official website. The Baggy Greens will be led by their captain Pat Cummins in the tournament. Their first group match and opening fixture is scheduled against England on 22 February, 2025, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Australia will face the first-ever ICC Champions Trophy winner South Africa (1998) on 25 February, 2025, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Australia vs England, 4th Match, Group B

The second match of Group B will be a clash between Australia and England. The match is scheduled for 22 February, 2025, with the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, as its venue. This clash will also be the fourth match of the Champions Trophy 2025.

The 3rd match of group B and 7th match of the Champions Trophy 2025 group stage is between Australia and South Africa. It will be played on 25 February, 2025, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Australia will be facing the ICC T20 World Cup semi-finalist (2024) Afghanistan on 28 February, 2025, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. This will mark the last group stage match of Australia, the 10th match of the group stage, and the 5th match of the group B.
