Adam Zampa picks six wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad

Rising Pune Supergiants played Sunrisers Hyderabad on 10 May 2016 at Vishakhapatnam. Sunrisers Hyderabad was upbeat after that thumping win against Mumbai Indians. The came into this game second in the points table. They needed a win tonight to top the table. While Rising Pune Supergiants had a mediocre campaign. They lost several players due to injuries and was looking to grab a few wins in the bag. A win was essential for RPS’s playoff qualification.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat first. This surprised us all.

David Warner said, "Runs on the board is critical. It is about keeping or momentum, a couple of guys have peaked at the right time."

MS Dhoni added, "Would have bowled first anyway, have to keep things simple, another 5-10 per cents more and we will start winning. Playing with the same squad."

After that early wicket of David Warner, RPS had to until the eleventh over for the second wicket. Guess what, Ravi Ashwin dismissed Shikhar Dhawan.

Adam picked up six wickets in this match. Extraordinary figures for him.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed Rahane for a nought. Brilliant start for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rahman bowled a brilliant nineteenth over. Ashish Nehra bowled a cracking last over to win it for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He picked up three wickets today.

Andre Russell, Shane Watson, Mitchell McClenaghan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar have fourteen wickets each. Bhuvneshwar Kumar leads the wicket-takers chart. Remarkably, no player from Rising Pune Supergiants makes the wicket-takers chart.

SRH’s Naman Ojha has the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper in IPL 2016. While RCB’s AB de Villiers took the most catches in the tournament so far.

Overall, fielding in IPL 2016 has been fantastic. Suresh Raina’s catch against Kolkata Knight Riders was wonderful. However, Watson-Wiese relay catch was spectacular and is the best catch of the tournament so far.
