In the match between MI and RCB, Kohli surpassed Suresh Raina to become the all-time leading run-scorer of IPL. With 4619 runs, the RCB captain has topped the leaderboard of most IPL runs.

In addition to that, he became the first Indian player in the history of 20-over cricket to score 5000 or more runs for a single franchise. Till date, Virat has scored as many as 5043 (including CLT20) runs at an average of 38.30 for RCB.

Harbhajan Singh has been one of the best spin bowlers in the history of IPL. With 129 wickets, he is the fourth highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL.

Not long ago, in the match between KXIP and CSK, Harbhajan Singh bettered Praveen Kumar to top the leaderboard of most dot-balls bowled in the history of IPL. Till date, the Indian spinner has bowled 1076 dot-balls in the history of IPL which is most by any player in IPL.

Before the start of the tournament, Praveen Kumar held the unique record with 1075 dot-balls to his name with Harbhajan Singh at second place (1060 dot-balls).

At the start of the tournament, Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine jointly held the record for fastest fifty (in 15 balls) in the history of IPL.

Not long ago, when the tournament started, Tahir led the board with a bowling strike-rate of 15.23. However, in RCB's opening match against KKR, Woakes eclipsed Tahir to get the best bowling strike-rate in the history of IPL.
