Razzak played a lone IPL match and failed to impress

Abdur Razzak is one among the many prolific left-arm spinners produced by Bangladesh and is the first ever Bangladeshi bowler to claim 200 wickets in ODI. He made his ODI debut in 2004 and was suspended in 2008 for a suspect bowling action. The suspension was lifted in 2009 after he remodeled his bowling action.

Abdur Razzak was the first ever Bangladeshi playing in IPL when he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 50,000 USD during the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008. He made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Rajasthan Royals in a losing cause with disappointing figures of 2-0-29-0. Failing to impress in the debut match, he was left out for the rest of the matches.
