IPL 2018, DD vs SRH: Twitter reacts as Sunrisers Hyderabad knock Delhi Daredevils out of the tournament

In a must-win game, Delhi chose to bat first but did not get the right start as they lost three wickets for 43 runs by the end of the eighth over. But it was Pant's show after that who scored 128 off 63 balls. On the way to his century, Rishabh Pant built two half-century partnerships with Harshal Patel and Glenn Maxwell. With the 26-run flourish in the last over off Bhuvi's bowling, Pant helped DD reach 187 in 20 overs.

Chasing a daunting total of 188, SRH lost their opener Alex Hales in the second over. The actual chase for SRH started when their skipper Kane Williamson joined Shikhar Dhawan in the middle. The two experienced batsmen put together a partnership of 176(102) runs and took their side home. Dhawan and Williamson scored 93(50) and 83(53) respectively to help SRH make their highest total of this IPL.

With this win, Sunrisers Hyderabad qualified for the playoffs and on the way, they knocked Delhi Daredevils out of the tournament.
