The Dublin born cricketer is the current English skipper in the limited overs cricket. Morgan has represented four different franchises in the IPL- the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab.

Morgan, who plays for Middlesex in the domestic circuit has a rich T20 experience playing in the Big Bash league, Caribbean Premier League and Pakistan Super League apart from the IPL.

In 52 IPL matches, Morgan has scored 854 runs at a strike-rate of 121.13, with his highest score being 66. Morgan has scored four half-centuries and has 24 catches to his name in the IPL.

He is a big-hitter of the ball and plays the reverse sweep shot very well. Morgan was a part of the KKR squad that won the IPL title in 2012 but did not get a chance to don the jersey in that season.

In 2016, he won his second IPL title with the Sunrisers Hyderabad under David Warner’s captaincy.

Morgan played for the Kings XI Punjab in the 2017 IPL but went unsold during this year’s auctions with a base price of INR 2 crore.

The southpaw will be happy to make a comeback to his former franchise.
