IPL 2018 started with a cliffhanger of a match between MI and CSK. The new season already looks so exciting with new team compositions.

Till now, 4 matches have been played and each team has tried to put their best foot forward to take the early advantage. However, some teams have already started looking fallible.

The weaknesses of teams have been exposed in their first games of the season. Let us have a look at the teams that will have to address their flaws going forward.

#3 Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first encounter of the season. Both the teams faced a similar setback prior to the tournament. Both David Warner (captain of SRH) and Steve Smith (captain of RR) were banned from the ongoing season of IPL following the sandpaper saga.

However, the sandpaper gate affected RR more than anyone else. The team doesn't boast any big Indian names. RR owners invested big in foreign players. The team is heavily reliant on Ben Stokes, D Arcy Short, and Jofra Archer.

In the absence of Archer in the first game, the team lacked the X-factor. The batting disappointed big time. RR will hope that the foreign players come good for them in the upcoming games.

#2 Delhi Daredevils

DD has to get the bowling sorted going forward.
DD has to get the bowling sorted going forward.

DD has failed to find the right combination in past few seasons now. This time, however, the franchise has been able to get Gautam Gambhir back.

In the first match itself, Gambhir showed his class and consistency. The team, however, lacked in the bowling department. KL Rahul hit the DD bowlers all around.

Unfortunately, DD has lost the services of Rabada due to injury. Also, Shami's form is an issue for the team.

DD will have to sort out the bowling issue or else it could be another debacle in IPL for the franchise.

#1 Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB's deficiencies in bowling hurt them against KKR in their season opener.
RCB's deficiencies in bowling hurt them against KKR in their season opener.

Amidst all the talk of RCB franchise going for balance this season, the team faced the usual issues in the first game itself.

RCB, for a long time, have been a batting-heavy side. The onus has remained on the top three or four players to win the game. However, Kohli was quite vocal about RCB finding the right balance this season.

Although the team looked better than the previous seasons, it looks like their issues in the bowling department are far from over. To add to RCB's agony, Sunil Narine played another blinder against them.

RCB will have to sort out their bowling sooner than later if they are to win the tournament.
