The only uncapped regular stumper in this IPL

The only uncapped wicketkeeper among the 8 teams in this season of the IPL, the former U-19 captain has done a very good job for the Mumbai Indians so far this season. Despite a hot and cold start to this season where he was shuffled up and down the batting order, Kishan has managed to keep his form intact and has been impressive with the bat as well as behind the stumps.

Part of the playing XI in all the matches this season so far, Kishan has 250 runs to his name at a humongous strike rate of almost 160. His match-winning 21-ball-62 run knock against KKR was vital in keeping MI alive in this edition. Apart from his batting, Kishan has also been part of 10 dismissals, which is the joint highest among the wicketkeepers.

Krishnappa Gowtham (Rajasthan Royals)

Doing wonders with both bat and bowl.
Doing wonders with both bat and ball

Even though Rajasthan Royals shocked everyone with their over-the-top bidding for players, they didn't shy away from their trend of taking young cricketers under their wing and grooming them in the best way. Krishnappa Gowtham has been the biggest surprise package for the Jaipur-based franchise, as the erstwhile unknown player has been doing wonders both with the bat as well as with the ball this season.

Gowtham has been a part of the playing XI in all the matches for the team so far. Batting at number 7 or 8, Gowtham has accumulated 100 runs at a gargantuan strike rate of almost 213. His 11-ball-33 is one of the most memorable cameos in the history of the IPL. With the ball, he has 8 scalps to his name at a respectable economy of 7.8.

Jofra Archer (Rajasthan Royals)

Living up to the hype around him.
Living up to the hype

Before this season of the IPL, there was a lot of hype surrounding the arrival of Jofra Archer in the biggest T20 league of the world. Already a sensation all over the world, Jofra was expected to set the stage on fire with his flamboyant style of play. Even though he failed to make it to the playing XI in the first few matches due to injury, he has been a revelation for the Rajasthan Royals with the ball since his return.

Part of the playing XI in just 7 out of the 12 matches for the team, Jofra Archer has added a new element to the RR bowling line up that was struggling to find some momentum. With 13 wickets to his name at an economy of 7.9 and average of a little over 16, Archer has emerged as the biggest match winner from the bowling department for the team.
