#3 Virat Kohli (Middle-order batsman)

Virat Kohli

Virat has been part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise since the beginning of the IPL. He is one of the very few players to have played for the same franchise for a decade.

The RCB management showed immense faith in his batting and leadership abilities and he never disappointed them.

Kohli has made 4418 runs in 149 matches for the Bangalore franchise at a strike-rate of 129.82. He has scored 30 half-centuries and four centuries in the IPL, with his highest score being 113.

The 2016 season was all about Virat Kohli, where he smashed a record 973 runs and astonishing four centuries. RCB finished as the runners-up to Sunrisers Hyderabad in that season under Kohli.

He was also a part of the squad that finished as the runners-up in 2009 and 2011. Virat has 61 catches in his entire IPL career. Sadly, an IPL title has eluded this master batsman for ten years. Hope the next decade brings him all the success.
