He was bought by MI in the auction for 3.2 Crore. He can bat wherever the team wants. He will come as a floater, he can open the batting, he can be the finisher or he can even play the anchor role in the middle of an innings.
This season has been his best as far as run making is concerned. He has scored 230 runs in just 6 innings with 2 crucial 50s to his name. He is currently 5th on the top run-getters list. He has always been a good player but just didn’t get enough opportunities to bat with KKR. In MI he has got it and capitalized on it. He will be hoping that he continues his good form and help his team win some matches.
