IPL 2018: Twitter reacts to Kings XI Punjab's win over Kolkata Knight Riders in Eden Gardens

KKR set a target of 192 against a strong KXIP after a good start by Lynn and Uthappa with a 72 run partnership for the second wicket.

But that was the only big partnership of the innings as wickets fell regularly. The fall of wickets reduced the scoring rate in spite of a good performance from Dinesh Karthik, and only 45 came off the last five overs.

KXIP were cruising through scoring 96 in 8.2 overs before the rain interrupted the match. When the play resumed after the break, the target was revised to 125 in 13 overs.

Both Rahul and Gayle reached their respective half-centuries but Rahul got out just when they needed only nine runs.

After Rahul's loss, Gayle finished off the match with a six off the first ball of eleventh over.
