The forthcoming season of world's most popular T20 league isn't too far away, as it is scheduled to kick-off on March 23.

The cash-rich T20 league IPL has always been a great platform for cricketers from all over the world to showcase their aptitude and to make a name of themselves in the cricket world. Over the years, many players have shot to fame by performing well in this league.

Here, we will take a look at 3 T20 veterans who'll want to make a mark in the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League.

A tremendous T20 all-rounder from England, David Willey is a skilled left-arm pacer and a devastating left-hand batsman. He is someone who can change the course of the match with both bat and ball.

The English all-rounder has a lot of experience of playing in the shortest format of the game as he has played a total of 171 matches in the format. He has picked 160 wickets at an average of 23.30 and economy rate of 7.89 from 148 innings.

His batting is equally good, as he has scored 2545 runs from 128 innings at an average of 24.23 scoring with an impressive strike rate of 140.76. He has smashed 11 fifties and 2 centuries in his T20 career. It shows how good he has been in the shortest format of the game.

In IPL 2018, David Willey came as an injury replacement for CSK and played just 3 matches in the tournament. His performance with the ball in these three matches was not impressive, as he took 2 wickets at a mediocre average of 47.5 with an economy rate of 9.5.

But this time he will surely want to make his mark and could set the IPL 2019 on fire if he gets enough opportunities.

The swashbuckling left-hand batsman, Colin Ingram has a lot of experience of playing T20 cricket, as he has been part of various T20 leagues all over the world. Along with being a good batsman, he is also a talented leg-break bowler.

The veteran has made a total of 218 T20 appearances till date and has scored 5557 runs at an average of 30.53 scoring with a strike rate of 139.16. While bowling, he has taken 38 wickets from 67 innings at an average of 32.13 and a strike rate of 7.86.

The South-African cricketer was part of Adelaide Strikers in the recently concluded Big-Bash League. His performance in the tournament was decent, as he scored 333 runs from 13 innings and picked 1 wicket from 2 innings.

In IPL 2019, he will be playing for Delhi Capitals and could prove destructive de to his all-round tendencies.

Joe Denly is an outstanding all-rounder from England who bats right hand and bowls right-arm leg spin. He is one of the star performers in England's T20 Blast.

The 32-year-old has a good experience of T20 cricket, as he has played 199 T20s till date. His T20 numbers are quite impressive, as he has scored 5001 runs from 193 innings at an average of 28.25 scoring with a strike rate of 122.33.

While bowling, he has taken 29 wickets from 31 innings at an impressive average of 20.00 and economy rate of 7.82 with 4/19 being his best figures.

The T20 veteran was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 1 crore at the IPL auction 2019. All in all, Joe Denly could prove to be a great all-rounder for KKR if he performs according to his caliber.
