#4 Rajasthan Royals
The Royals have been a consistent side in the IPL. Last year, they finished fourth on the table and qualified for the playoffs. However, they failed to reach the final, losing to KKR in the eliminator itself.
Led by Ajinkya Rahane, the Royals did not make any trades but released many players. It will be interesting to see who they decide to go for in the upcoming auction.

#3 Delhi Daredevils
It was yet another poor season for the Delhi Daredevils last time around as the finished at the bottom of the table. Gautam Gambhir, who began the season as the captain, stepped down after a few games after which Shreyas Iyer took over. Gambhir has been released as well.
