Avesh has become an India A regular

The Delhi Capitals have built a strong team rotating around youth rather than experience and will pose a real threat to the title. They have many prominent young stars with an adequate amount of experienced players. Many players have made it to the national side after playing for Delhi and they will look to continue with the trend even this season.

Of the uncapped wealth that Delhi possesses, it's hard to pick just one or two names but the best of the lot seem to be pacer Avesh Khan and all-rounder Jalaj Saxena. Avesh Khan has tremendous pace and extracts a lot of bounce from the wicket.

He was provided opportunities to play last season and though he showed sparks of brilliance, he was erratic most of the time. He has improved and strengthened his credentials in the domestic season and is a regular for the India A side and can make his debut this year. With the lack of experienced Indian pacers in the side, Avesh is expected to make the cut to the playing XI.

Saxena has been tremendous in the domestic circuit and has earned his IPL place due to phenomenal performances and questions remain as to why he wasn't considered before. He's a proper middle-order batsman and off-spinner and has good stats in both the fields. He must be given playing XI chance ahead of someone like Rahul Tewatia or Manjot Kalra.
