Jaydev Undakat grabbed a huge bid yet again but it seems like he won't do justice to the price tag even in this season
#7 Royal Challengers Bangalore- Akshdeep Nath(INR 3.6 Crore)

Akshdeep Nath
The Royal Challengers Bangalore signed a number of talented youngsters at the IPL auction and Akshdeep Nath was one of them. Though his buy was masked by the bigger ones of all-rounder Shivam Dubey and Shimron Hetmyer, Akshdeep received a considerably huge amount of 3.6 Crore after a bidding war with the Chennai Super Kings. But on hindsight, this bid seems to be a hasty one and has no point in it whatsoever.
First of all, to give this much to someone who hasn't had much success in the IPL is baseless. His T20 stats aren't all that great and his strike-rate and average seem below par for such a highly rated player. Also, in such a packed team filled with stars, it will be hard to find a place for him and it doesn't seem wise to give him that amount just to warm the bench.
