Kuldeep Yadav was not consistent enough

Kuldeep Yadav has been the backbone of India's spin attack for quite some time now. Yadav, who his known for his impeccable skills and handling of pressure at crucial stages of the game, was particularly underwhelming in this year's IPL. Kuldeep Yadav had a brilliant season for Kolkata Knight Riders in the last season of IPL. Yadav's bowling lacked consistency. Out of 9 matches, he only had 4 wickets to his name, at an unpardonable average of 71.50.

Kolkata Knight Riders were very impressive throughout the tournament. Almost all the batsmen scored more than 300 runs in the league stage and even if there were some weaklings, Russel absolutely covered that up, with his power hitting. Kuldeep Yadav's consistency with bowling could have solved the issue completely and his inability to provide solid foundation to Kolkata's side makes him the worst performer for KKR in this year's IPL. Kuldeep Yadav could have made the difference had he performed better than what he brought to his team, this season.
