Rohit Sharma: 1/10

MI skipper Rohit looked incredibly tied down at the crease, against both spin and pace. He lost his patience and departed for 5 off 12 by taking an unnecessary risk off Axar Patel, thereby adding pressure onto a free-flowing De Kock.

Quinton de Kock: 8.5/10

Quinton de Kock mastered the chase despite the utter failure of his opening partner on the night. Scoring at will, he scored four fours and three sixes en route to a fine 53 that was cut short when he looked for another scoring shot.

Suryakumar Yadav: 8.5/10

Yadav supported and carried on from where De Kock left off, going one step better with another 53 from four fewer balls. His innings ensured MI's middle order would not have much to sweat over.

Ishan Kishan: 8.5/10

Kishan's masterful 28 off 15 took the game entirely out of DC's grasp. He perished trying to end the game early, but had done enough to make the chase a walk in the park from then on.

Hardik Pandya: 1/10

Pandya has been played as a specialist batsman by MI this season. Sometimes it pays off, but today it failed miserably as he edged his second ball behind to the keeper while looking to attack DC's fifth bowler, Marcus Stoinis.

Krunal Pandya: 8.5/10

Krunal may just have made for a Player of the Match candidate with his show in all departments. Unlike the DC spinners, he found success not only at keeping the runs down but also at striking twice as he claimed Rahane and Iyer's wickets to finish with 2/26. With bat in hand, Krunal's 12 off 7 polished off the chase from a tense spot, and the all-rounder also took a simple catch in the field to dismiss Shaw.

Kieron Pollard: 2/10

Pollard came on to bowl as the 6th bowling option, and went for 10 off his first and only over. With bat in hand, he made a straightforward chase look tough, scoring just 11 off 14 and getting tied up by pace.

James Pattinson: 1/10

Pattinson was a poor hunting-mate for Boult as his three overs were carted for 37 runs, prompting Rohit to turn to spin within the first six overs. He got no opportunity to redeem himself in the field or with bat in hand.

Rahul Chahar: 7.5/10

Chahar was miserly in his four overs, giving away just 27 on a pitch where the opposition spinners were not as effective. He was wicketless, but displayed smarts in collaborating in the Stoinis run-out.

Trent Boult: 4/10

Boult was expensive and even a bit wayward at times in his four overs that went for 36. He struck on the third ball of the match to remove Shaw and took a catch in the deep to get rid of DC skipper Iyer.

Jasprit Bumrah: 7.5/10

Bumrah unexpectedly went wicketless in this game, but was fantastic with regards to his economy rate. Despite going for 12 in the final over, he still gave away just 26 runs, and was tied with Krunal as the most frugal bowler on the night.
